Admissions


The admission process begins with the parent attending a school tour, where an application will be made available. After submission of the application form, child evaluations, IEP and teacher/therapist progress notes and upon receipt of these written materials, we invite parents and children to participate in an assessment.

Dr. Gil Tippy, Clinical Director, will ask the parents to play with their child. Dr. Tippy assesses the child’s level of functional emotional development based on the Functional Emotional Assessment Scale (FEAS). Then Tina McCourt, Program Director, meets with the parents to discuss educational and family goals.
